Lives of superbeings to grow more complicated in a few days.

New York, NY. Psion travels to the waterfront and confronts Smoke and Black Lotus, who are battling each other. Black Lotus attacks Smoke in a blind rage while Smoke tells Psion to leave them alone. Psion uses his mind control on Smoke, commanding him to return home and Black Lotus begins beating him mercilessly. Inferno arrives to help and kills Black Lotus with a couple bursts of fire. Inferno and Psion’s victory is cut short by the approach of a tsunami. Psion grabs Smoke and flies above the wave as Inferno tries to lessen it's impact with his fire powers. In the end, they watch impotently as the wave advances on the city and destroys everything it encounters, leaving them hovering above the receeding ocean. Psion calls General Talbot and is told that satellite images show the coastline of North America move inland 40 miles. Reports of destruction reach 75 miles inland from the former shore. Psion asks for a submarine after learning that the epicenter of the wave was in the Canary Islands. Talbot reports that the islands have been destroyed by the volcano and theorizes that the wave may be linked to the seismic event in Antactica.

Jotunheim. Magni, Modi, and Cyber-Gangrel climb from the World Tree to a dry and arid land. Cyber-Gangrel asks if they’ve actually made it to Asgard, or if they’re in hell. They soon encounter a pair of giants, who loom over them. Modi immediately enters his berserker rage and pummels Cyber-Gangrel, thowing him far from combat. Magni strikes the giants with Mjolnir to little effect. The giants then pummel Magni and Modi with their tree-like clubs. Modi recovers quickly and beats the giants down, but is killed by one of them before it can be stopped by Cyber-Gangrel. Magni then gifts Modi’s belt and axe to Cyber-Gangrel, declaring him as much of a brother to him as Modi.

Vatican City. Crusader takes the papal name of Perpetua Thecla I and addresses the masses.

Thank you, my children. May the Lord’s blessings reach you. A mommentous, and perhaps to some, controversial moment in history has occurred.

I ask you this, “When the flock are hungry and there is no shepherd, are the sheep to starve, and haven’t women been shepherdesses since time began? Is the faith of Christ so weak that it can only be administered by a man? No! It is not. ALL are baptized in Christ, we have clothed ourselves in Christ, and there are no more distinctions between Jew and Gentile, slave and free, man and woman, but all of us are one in Christ Jesus.”

We are living in the time of great conflict but not of one between male and female but as always, between good and evil THEMSELVES. Literal demons and whores of Babylon strike at us daily. Greed, corruption, and the lust for power are an epidemic not only amongst the so called super beings. What shall we do? Shall we give up our very souls to live under the illusion of order? An illusion which STARTASK is offering under the rulership of Cranium? Are we to be his slaves and serve two lords? Line up to receive his beastly genetic mark? No! No I tell you! I proclaim that in this time of need a new holy crusade is called for. A crusade of the open hand, pulling those in need from the squalor of dust. WE ARE our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers. WE HAVE a responsibility to this world and the universe beyond. I call upon those of conscience to abandon evil and join in this crusade whether Catholic, Jew, Muslim, Hindi, Protestant, or Pagan. In light of this brotherhood, I declare that the Sword of Faith and Professor Creepy are now citizens of the Holy See and granted diplomatic immunity. Although these two may worship God in a way different from ours, how can we not call them heroes or fail to see that they follow the path of nobility? We are God’s children and we are as one. No evil can stand before the righteous in this world or in the next.

Dr Cranium, I humbly beseech you to turn away from your evil path and to accept God’s grace into your heart. Until such a time, I declare that Dr Cranium, who has hidden under the guise of Skallagrimson, is EXCOMMUNICATED. So are all members of STARTASK who do not immediately forsake that evil institution. You have been warned Cranium, the world understands you.

I ask that you pray with me: Oh Christ, Light of the Father, who rules in Heaven, shed thy wisdom and glory upon the souls who seek thee!
